Congratulations to our XC runners who competed at District today. We had our varsity girls team place 3rd and advance to Regionals and Gincarlo place 2nd and advance to Regionals!

What a great game Friday Night at WT High! The Mustangs competed and the score went back and forth the entire game. Unfortunately, it didn't go our way but so proud of our players and coaches!

Last Friday we welcomed Dairy Max and local farmers on to our campus. With their help BISD athletes received a chocolate milk grant. This was designed to give our athletes chocolate milk after workouts to help their muscles recover. Thank you to all who attended and for your support of Bovina!

VB had their pink out game along side of Senior night! What a great turnout for our teams and what a fun season!

🎺 Mighty Mustang Band Marches On Through Band-tober! 🎶

Yesterday, the Mighty Mustang Band competed at the 2026 Westerner Marching Festival, and we are proud to share our results!

🏆 11th out of 18 Bands – Class 2A

🥁 9th out of 22 Percussion – Classes 1A/2A

But what makes these results even more exciting is seeing how far we’ve come in just ONE YEAR!

📈 2025 → 2026

🎺 Overall Band: 15th of 19 → 11th of 18
🥁 Percussion: 19th of 25 → 9th of 22

These results reflect the hard work, dedication, and growth of our students. Progress doesn’t happen overnight. It takes hours of rehearsals, determination, and a commitment to getting better every single day.

We still have work to do, but we are moving in the right direction, and we couldn’t be prouder of the progress our Mustang Band is making!

Pink out week!

We’d love for you to join us! Please see the flyer for details on becoming part of our District Committee Advisory Team.

9 of the Spanish Club members visited Prairie Acres Nursing Facility in Friona yesterday afternoon. They prepared a fall activity for the residents. "Share a favorite fall memory with me." Each young lady worked one on one with a resident and traced their hand on a fall colored paper. They then cut it out and wrote the memories on it, which was used as a leaf to go on the Fall Tree. It was a special opportunity for our young students to work with the elderly community of this area. A few of the residents asked when they could return for a visit.

Come out early and watch volleyball the head over to watch the Varsity Mustangs.
