“Commitment to Excellence”
Parents, Staff and Students of Bovina ISD:
On March 8, 2021 the Bovina ISD School Board took no action on the mask requirements for Bovina ISD students and staff. This means that Bovina ISD will continue to require face coverings and social distancing inside buildings.
These requirements are out of safety and health considerations for our students and staff and to minimize disruptions. Close contact and quarantine guidelines from TEA have not changed and would require more students and staff to be quarantined in the case of an exposure to the virus. Wearing the face covering and social distancing will help to prevent this from occurring. If the guidelines from TEA were to change, the Board will revisit the policy.
The Board recognizes the differing opinions related to these safety protocols, but is doing what they believe is best for the students and staff of Bovina ISD.
Sincerely,
Denise Anderson
Bovina ISD Superintendent
UPDATE
Visitors will be allowed on campus at the discretion of individual campuses as long as visitors adhere to District safety protocols.

Welcome to Bovina ISD Home of the Mustangs and Fillies

Arial view of Bovina
Welcome to Bovina ISD, where the education of every student is our main objective.

Bovina is a small rural community located in the southwestern Texas Panhandle, with a population of approximately 2000 citizens.
Bovina ISD strives to offer a large school education, in a small school setting. The entire teaching staff at Bovina ISD are Highly Qualified, ensuring that the education our students receive will prepare them for college, or to enter the workplace and be productive citizens.
With all that said, if you are looking for a community with a Home Town atmosphere, where your child can receive an education that will prepare them for whatever they decide to do, whether college, or the workforce, then come by and visit us at Bovina ISD, or contact us at 806-251-1336.
